Monday Planary Session Notes

At the conclusion of the first day’s Workshops, a plenary session was held to note the key points participants wished to note:

• The Theme has focussed a lot on children;
• We are recognizing that children have a voice which should be listened to and voices which should be heard;
• There is a need for better training for people dealing with domestic abuse;
• One of today’s messages has been an emphasis on the victim and their needs, rather than the perpetrator
